The CPR Corporate Care Training program provides you with a cost-effective certification course for your employees. Each course is taught by a certified American Heart Association Instructor. Our courses are OSHA-compliant, and it may reduce your insurance premiums. You provide the dates and location, and IA Training Services will take care of the rest!

The American Heart Association training courses offered at IA Creative Services include CPR, First Aid, AED and BLS. We also offer some variations of those classes; renewal courses, and skills evaluations training. The price of each class depends largely on the amount of training required to complete the class. Pricing varies on class size and number of sessions needed. Call or submit a form with details and we will send a quote. If you are located in the St Charles, Jefferson, Harahan, Orleans, Ascension and Baton Rouge areas, WE COME TO YOU. We understand many people prefer the comfort of their own home or business, so we designed our courses to fit that need. You provide the space; we bring the required training tools & materials. When you join a course at IA Training Services, upon completion, you can start using your new skills right away. We believe in only teaching necessary content, which means everything you learn will be practical and easy to apply. We’re very flexible with course times and schedules, or if you are interested in a group training session and cannot find something that works for you, give us a call.

Travel Rate- Based upon areas listed above:

CPR/First Aid/AED- $60 Individual--$55 Group (Group- 8 or more)

BLS/AED- $75 Individual--$70 Group (Group- 6 or more)

Approximate course completion times are listed below. Times are based on a recommended ratio of 6 clients to 1 Instructor to 1 manikin or station (NOTE: the CPR and AED and Management of Respiratory Emergencies stations require 1 Instructor and 2 manikins for 6 clients per station). Using different ratios will result in increased course completion times.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: (please read before booking)

We reserve the right to cancel a class due to lack of participation, severe weather, etc. In such cases, full refunds will be issued in the same manner as payment for the course was made. All courses must be paid in full 72 hours prior to the day of the course. No payments will be taken in person the day of the course (Exceptions- Walk Ins ONLY)

​THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS GRANTED FOR NO-SHOWS OR CANCELLATIONS 3 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO THE COURSE START DATE. ALL REFUND POLICIES ARE IN EFFECT REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLATION. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY MAY BE CHANGED AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT NOTICE. PLEASE VISIT OUR SITE FOR THE LATEST VERSION BEFORE BOOKING.

Unsuccessful Completion:
CLIENTS THAT ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS ALL PARTS OF THE TRAINING COURSE OF THEIR SELECTION ARE NOT ENTITLED, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, TO ANY TYPE OF REFUND OR COMPENSATION FROM IA CREATIVE SERVICES.

CPR-First Aid-AED

CPR:

The AHA Heart saver CPR, First Aid & AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, clients receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

Teaching Techniques:

  • Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival

  • Explain the concepts of the Chain of Survival

  • Recognize when someone needs CPR

  • Perform high-quality CPR for an adult

  • Describe how to perform CPR with help from others

  • Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups

  • Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult

  • Perform high-quality CPR for a child*

  • Demonstrate how to use an AED on a child*

  • Perform high-quality CPR for an infant*

  • Describe when and how to help a choking adult or child

  • Demonstrate how to help a choking infant*

*Child and infant modules are optional.

FIRST AID:

First Aid teaches you the basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

  • First aid basics

  • Medical emergencies

  • Injury emergencies

  • Environmental emergencies

  • Preventing illness and injury

BLS/AED
4 HR- $65 Individual

BLS/HRT SVR:

The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Heart saver techniques teaches you the skills needed to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives.​

Teaching Techniques:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components

  • Important early use of an AED

  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device

  • Importance of teams in multi rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR

  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

ACLS:

For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response

Teaching Techniques:

  • Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia

  • Airway management

  • Related pharmacology

  • Management of ACS and stroke

  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

-Full ACLS Provider Course takes approximately 15 hours and 20 minutes with breaks (2-Day Course).

-ACLS Renewal Course takes approximately 8 hours and 25 minutes with breaks (1-Day Course, including skills practice and testing)

PALS:

  • Includes realistic, clinical scenarios that encourage active participation – delivered through actual pediatric patient videos and lifelike simulations

  • Comprehensive and includes our systematic approach to assess and treat pediatric patients in emergency situations

  • Hands-on class format to reinforce skills proficiency

  • Co-branded with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)

-PALS ILT Traditional Full Course: 17 hours and 15 minutes with breaks (2-Day Course)

-PALS ILT Update Course: 8 hours and 45 minutes with breaks (1-Day Course, including skills practice and testing)
